People: Jessica Brady
Research Interests: systems biology, malaria, telemetry, engineering biomedical solutions, mathematical biology
Biographical Statement: Jessica is a PhD student in the College of Engineering at the University of Georgia. She currently works as a graduate research assistant with the Biomathematics Research Group analyzing data from a telemetry experimental setup she helped design for nonhuman primates and malaria infection. Her goal as a member of THoR’s HAMMER (a DARPA project) is to identify mechanisms and engineer strategies for greater host resilience against malaria. Jessica’s previous research included work with a mathematical model looking into a diabetes medication and its effect on renal hemodynamics.
